Probative is an AI-assisted affidavit analysis platform operated from Australia. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and handle personal information in connection with the Probative platform at probative.app.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Documents are passed to our AI analysis service for processing and are immediately discarded. No document content is written to any database, log file, or storage system operated by Probative.
Document analysis is performed using a third-party AI service (Anthropic). Documents are transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing in accordance with Anthropic's enterprise data handling terms. Anthropic does not train its models on API inputs submitted by customers.

Where we disclose information to overseas recipients (including Anthropic and Stripe, which operate in the United States), we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information consistently with the APPs.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We do not store document content, which significantly limits the privacy risk associated with our platform.
We retain your email address for as long as your account is active, or as long as necessary to provide our services. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your email address from our records within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
